Some reviewers say that they have purchased like 5 of these applicators because they keep clogging.YES, this product does get clogged every so often, but all you have to do is put your mouth on the end of the applicator and suck and blow a few times (use your mouth to suck obviously…..not your lungs!) and voila it works perfectly again. Then rinse your mouth out with water and you are set.And by the way, unless you like the idea of inhaling hundreds of thousands of micro-particulates into your lungs, you might consider holding your breath while applying Toppik.

If you are using toppik, I cannot imagine how you get by without this. It’s a must have. I have tried without it and no….this makes a huge difference. Takes a bit to get the hang of it. Some times you need to be closer other times further back, When I do the hairline, I do that before makeup because it will end up on my face as well, then I wipe off the excess that landed on my face and I’m set. Don’t use it daily, just for outings where I’ll take a lot of pics in bright sunlight, or out dancing where I know I’ll sweat and my thin hair will show my scalp more.

I read the negative reviews before purchasing this. My experience has been that this applicator works pretty well, overall. It gets clogged fairly regularly, but a few hard shakes seems to clear the flow. So I’m finding it useful for more precise application of Toppik, which works great for me in adding more coverage to my thinning hairline.

It does work and helps me direct my Toppik, but if it is not full enough it blows holes in the Toppik on my scalp. So. I do use it, but I double check that it’s filled first….oh and you need to use the small bottle.

I like these adaptors to target the spray on my hair part and in the back of my head. It takes a little longer. After I use some puffs, I take a make up brush and fluff them up or cover the Toppik wtih some brown eyeshadow. The Toppik starts to turn color (green sometimes!) when you are out in the sun a long time.

I used this to apply Toppik powder and it works very well. I went through chemotherapy and used chemo cold caps so I didn’t lose all my hair. It did get thin. So this helped hide the thin spots where scalp was showing. You give it a couple puffs and pat it gently down then use hair spray to keep it on longer. You will probably have to clean up your hairline with a damp cloth. But this spray top really helped apply the product much better than just shaking it on.

My spray applicator stopped using a month after I bought it when I was on vacation. It sucked that I wasn’t able to use it especially since I need it so bad. It worked good before it eventually just stopped spraying. I’m thinking it got clogged but I tried everything to clear it and it didn’t work

I have diffuse thinning, now to the point that my scalp shows, even on the sides of my head. I’ve had a container of Toppik for years but never got comfortable using it. It’s difficult to see where it’s going and how much is going on. I just got this applicator recently so I can’t speak to the issue of it getting clogged up over time. I’m thrilled with it though. I can put the nozzle almost against my scalp and get the product exactly where I want it in small controlled amounts. I still have a lot of hair compared to a bald scalp so when shaking the product from the container much of it would just sit on top of my hair and eventually get blown off. The nozzle allows me to get it on my scalp and not on top of my hair. I don’t have much of a problem in the vertex or back of the scalp, I suppose it may be more difficult to apply in these areas. For women with diffuse thinning over the crown and/or sides, it’s fantastic.

My bottle has also lasted for months now – it’s basically costing me pennies per use – can’t beat it – I know you might not believe it – but’s it’s true. Women should also check this out – especially middle age with those thin spots. Feels a little cheap the first few uses, but it is actually fiberous bands that practically match your hair and after a few times you don’t even think about it – just keep a mirror handy to put it on.

I recommend Toppik fibers to any woman who finds herself struggling with bald areas or thinning hair. The VERY BEST way to apply the fibers to your hair is with this spray applicator. Although I’ve found Toppik hair fibers available in many local stores, I’ve only been able to obtain this applicator online. The applicator is simple to use and well worth the money! The whole Toppik family of products has been a life saver for me. My daughter uses Toppik to give her shoulder length hair more thickness and a nice lift at the roots. We love it!!!

Make sure the applicator + bottle are upright & NOT tilted one bit, or else the fibers will come out uneven & in clumps. So instead of tilting the bottle to aim at your specific scalp region, tilt your head instead. This is the secret. I just upped its star rating from 3 to 4. And I just dumped in Nanogen fibers to use with this applicator and will report my findings here. Apparently, Nanogen fibers are way superior to Toppik’s.

Before ordering this applicator, make sure you are ordering the correct size of the Toppik Hair Building fibers. I bought the .36 oz container and the applicator does not fit. The instructions say to screw off the shaker top from the container, however this cannot be done on this size; I even had my husband look at it to make sure I wasn’t missing something on the shaker top. The applicator does not indicate what size container it can be used on, so if anyone else can provide that information – it would be helpful. Now I have an applicator and cannot use it until I decide if I want to purchase larger size of the fibers.

What a nifty little gadget! I’ve used and liked Toppik for several years, but since my thinning is on the front hairline, I would end up with Toppik all over my left hand (used to shield my face) and the sink. I didn’t even know that an applicator existed until recently, and for the inexpensive price, decided to give it a try. I use this in my very thin hair part. The pump perfectly targets the area where hair fibers are needed, and only that area. Mine quit pumping one day. I simply rinsed it out with hot water, let it dry, and it continued to work great!

Got it for my mom who has baby fine straight hair, thinning crown. She loves it. Easy to apply. (with Toppik pump applicator attachment) Last til next wash. Does not transfer on her pillow. Covers gray, thinning crown, hair looks fuller(denser), and most importantly looks natural. Apply passing multiple light pumps or will look fake. There’s a bit of a learning curve.

This item works well and even works with Nanogen fibers. It won’t actually screw on but still fits tightly on the bottle. The best part is that it SAVES A TON OF PRODUCT!!! Made my 12.5g bottle last for almost a month where using the shake method was like a week and half. Granted, I was new at applying this stuff but simply shaking and hoping created clumps and tons of waste in and on the sink. This is simply point and shoot. Don’t hold too close though or you’ll get little spots of product that you’ll have to spread out.

I was shown the Toppiks hair fibers by a customer while I was having a haircut. She asked me if I wanted to have some on my hair and see if I liked it. Now, I do have to say, she was standing above me and using the shaker. So I order some, but thought this applicator would be more precise. Problem is, no instructions other than how to get the shaker lid off and the spray applicator on. I didn’t know anything about not tipping the bottle or how hard to press the top etc. Needless to say the first experience wasn’t positive.It came out in spots more than even spray or mist. So I was using way too much to try and get it to look even. When I was done, it was on my forehead and shoulders, and when I tried to rub it through my scalp it just made my fingernails brown. Tomorrow I am going to wash my hair and try again with a little more knowledge from other users experiences, and a lighter touch. Oh, by the way, I also had to wash my pillowcase! But I have to say on a positive note, it made my hair look twice as thick as it is, and really did help cover those white part lines.

First things first. I can’t believe that anyone would give this thing less than 5 stars. I am shocked!After years of using the shaking method and wasting about half of the product to overflow on the sink, I thought I would give this guy a shot. I could not believe how much easier, quicker, more precises, and less wasteful this method is. Few pumps and my thinning area is covered! Imagine using an airbrush instead of a salt shaker to paint something. Yup! That’s exactly how it is. Night and day.Do yourself a favor and do not try and use Toppik without this applicator. It’s the greatest thing since sliced bread!

I have genetic female pattern thinning around the crown, top, and sides of my hairline. It’s quite noticeable and I have been using Toppik fibers for about three years. My major complaint is that sprinkling the fibers is a messy process. I guess I was an early-adoptor. Well, the infomercials are true. It works. I hate to be vain or even self-conscious – I’m not. But the truth is we live in a world where people think you are stupid and/or less attractive if you are fat or balding. This can’t do much for the former but effectively ‘cures’ the latter – no one can tell. All YOU have to do is match the color right. My bottle has also lasted for months now – it’s basically costing me pennies per use – can’t beat it – I know you might not believe it – but’s it’s true. Women should also check this out – especially middle age with those thin spots. Feels a little cheap the first few uses, but it is actually fiberous bands that practically match your hair and after a few times you don’t even think about it – just keep a mirror handy to put it on.

However, I’ve learned a few things over time and through trial & error. 1) Use the smallest size Toppik container. Even though this sprayer will work with either 12 g or 27.5 g container size, it doesn’t work well when the product is too low in the container – that is, when the top of the product is more than an inch from the top of the container. For this reason, I suggest strongly that you use it on the 12 g container. I buy the 27.5 g container, and I use that to refill the 12 g container. This applicator works like a suction and it won’t be able to suck up the fibers if they are too far from the top. Keep it more than half full and shake while using to keep things flowing. 2) Can the applicator clog? Sure it can – but in my experience this isn’t what’s keeping it from working. However, if you’re unsure then remove the applicator from the product container and immerse it in water and see if you are able to pump water through it. If so, then the water either resolved the clog or there was never a clog and you’re probably experiencing a problem with the product being too low in the container. After you wet it, pump out all the water and put the applicator aside to allow it to dry before you attempt to use it. The spray applicator shouldn’t be used while it’s wet because then it will definitely clog. 3) Sometimes you just have to use the original product as a shaker. The spray applicator isn’t the best to use for every situation, so your overall results will be best if you keep a shaker cap on hand so you have this option open.

Using the maximizer helps to lightly spread the Toppik more evenly. This avoids clumping it on. Be sure to have the small, 10.3 gram size bottle on hand because that’s the only size the maximizer will fit. You can buy the large size and save money, by pouring the Toppik out of the large size, into the small one, by removing the top grate.

I love the Toppik Hair Fibers. You “can” shake it on like tapping a little salt shaker. However that just wasn’t working great for me. I resisted getting the applicator because some people said it wasn’t great. I have to completely disagree, it was a game changer for me. I am a woman who has what is called a receding hairline on each side in the front. My hair has been this way all of my life. I didn’t wear it pulled back because of that. This stuff fills it in just enough to make me comfortable pulling it into a ponytail or a headband. The applicator makes it easy and not frustrating as with the shake it on method.

Make sure the applicator + bottle are upright & NOT tilted one bit, or else the fibers will come out uneven & in clumps. So instead of tilting the bottle to aim at your specific scalp region, tilt your head instead. This is the secret. I just upped its star rating from 3 to 4. And I just dumped in Nanogen fibers to use with this applicator and will report my findings here. Apparently, Nanogen fibers are way superior to Toppik’s.

After I use some puffs, I take a make up brush and fluff them up or cover the Toppik wtih some brown eyeshadow. You will probably have to clean up your hairline with a damp cloth. But this spray top really helped apply the product much better than just shaking it on.

Made my 12.5g bottle last for almost a month where using the shake method was like a week and half. The sprayer gets clogged with the Fibers and I have to either keep opening the lid and applying the fibers with my hand or spending 5-10 minutes trying to unclog the sprayer. Needs to be a bit wider so that it doesn’t face this issue.

I was shown the Toppiks hair fibers by a customer while I was having a haircut. She asked me if I wanted to have some on my hair and see if I liked it. Now, I do have to say, she was standing above me and using the shaker. So I order some, but thought this applicator would be more precise. Problem is, no instructions other than how to get the shaker lid off and the spray applicator on. I didn’t know anything about not tipping the bottle or how hard to press the top etc. Needless to say the first experience wasn’t positive.It came out in spots more than even spray or mist. So I was using way too much to try and get it to look even. When I was done, it was on my forehead and shoulders, and when I tried to rub it through my scalp it just made my fingernails brown. Tomorrow I am going to wash my hair and try again with a little more knowledge from other users experiences, and a lighter touch. Oh, by the way, I also had to wash my pillowcase! But I have to say on a positive note, it made my hair look twice as thick as it is, and really did help cover those white part lines.

This made Toppik so much better because it can easily direct where I want the fibers to go. I have diffuse thinning, now to the point that my scalp shows, even on the sides of my head. I’ve had a container of Toppik for years but never got comfortable using it. It’s difficult to see where it’s going and how much is going on. I just got this applicator recently so I can’t speak to the issue of it getting clogged up over time. I’m thrilled with it though. I can put the nozzle almost against my scalp and get the product exactly where I want it in small controlled amounts. Before ordering this applicator, make sure you are ordering the correct size of the Toppik Hair Building fibers. I bought the .36 oz container and the applicator does not fit. The instructions say to screw off the shaker top from the container, however this cannot be done on this size; I even had my husband look at it to make sure I wasn’t missing something on the shaker top. The applicator does not indicate what size container it can be used on, so if anyone else can provide that information – it would be helpful. Now I have an applicator and cannot use it until I decide if I want to purchase larger size of the fibers.

So this helped hide the thin spots where scalp was showing. You give it a couple puffs and pat it gently down then use hair spray to keep it on longer. You will probably have to clean up your hairline with a damp cloth. But this spray top really helped apply the product much better than just shaking it on.

I love the Toppik Hair Fibers. You “can” shake it on like tapping a little salt shaker. However that just wasn’t working great for me. I resisted getting the applicator because some people said it wasn’t great. I have to completely disagree, it was a game changer for me. I am a woman who has what is called a receding hairline on each side in the front. My hair has been this way all of my life. I didn’t wear it pulled back because of that. This stuff fills it in just enough to make me comfortable pulling it into a ponytail or a headband. The applicator makes it easy and not frustrating as with the shake it on method.

Make sure the applicator + bottle are upright & NOT tilted one bit, or else the fibers will come out uneven & in clumps. So instead of tilting the bottle to aim at your specific scalp region, tilt your head instead. This is the secret. I just upped its star rating from 3 to 4. And I just dumped in Nanogen fibers to use with this applicator and will report my findings here. Apparently, Nanogen fibers are way superior to Toppik’s.

After I use some puffs, I take a make up brush and fluff them up or cover the Toppik wtih some brown eyeshadow. Some times you need to be closer other times further back, When I do the hairline, I do that before makeup because it will end up on my face as well, then I wipe off the excess that landed on my face and I’m set. Don’t use it daily, just for outings where I’ll take a lot of pics in bright sunlight, or out dancing where I know I’ll sweat and my thin hair will show my scalp more.

I was shown the Toppiks hair fibers by a customer while I was having a haircut. She asked me if I wanted to have some on my hair and see if I liked it. Now, I do have to say, she was standing above me and using the shaker. So I order some, but thought this applicator would be more precise. Problem is, no instructions other than how to get the shaker lid off and the spray applicator on. I didn’t know anything about not tipping the bottle or how hard to press the top etc. Needless to say the first experience wasn’t positive.It came out in spots more than even spray or mist. So I was using way too much to try and get it to look even. When I was done, it was on my forehead and shoulders, and when I tried to rub it through my scalp it just made my fingernails brown. Tomorrow I am going to wash my hair and try again with a little more knowledge from other users experiences, and a lighter touch. Oh, by the way, I also had to wash my pillowcase! But I have to say on a positive note, it made my hair look twice as thick as it is, and really did help cover those white part lines.

I recommend Toppik fibers to any woman who finds herself struggling with bald areas or thinning hair. The VERY BEST way to apply the fibers to your hair is with this spray applicator. Although I’ve found Toppik hair fibers available in many local stores, I’ve only been able to obtain this applicator online. The applicator is simple to use and well worth the money! The whole Toppik family of products has been a life saver for me. My daughter uses Toppik to give her shoulder length hair more thickness and a nice lift at the roots. We love it!!!

I resisted getting the applicator because some people said it wasn’t great. I have to completely disagree, it was a game changer for me. I am a woman who has what is called a receding hairline on each side in the front. My hair has been this way all of my life. I didn’t wear it pulled back because of that. This stuff fills it in just enough to make me comfortable pulling it into a ponytail or a headband. The applicator makes it easy and not frustrating as with the shake it on method.

However, I’ve learned a few things over time and through trial & error. 1) Use the smallest size Toppik container. Even though this sprayer will work with either 12 g or 27.5 g container size, it doesn’t work well when the product is too low in the container – that is, when the top of the product is more than an inch from the top of the container. For this reason, I suggest strongly that you use it on the 12 g container. I buy the 27.5 g container, and I use that to refill the 12 g container. This applicator works like a suction and it won’t be able to suck up the fibers if they are too far from the top. Keep it more than half full and shake while using to keep things flowing. 2) Can the applicator clog? Sure it can – but in my experience this isn’t what’s keeping it from working. However, if you’re unsure then remove the applicator from the product container and immerse it in water and see if you are able to pump water through it. If so, then the water either resolved the clog or there was never a clog and you’re probably experiencing a problem with the product being too low in the container. After you wet it, pump out all the water and put the applicator aside to allow it to dry before you attempt to use it. The spray applicator shouldn’t be used while it’s wet because then it will definitely clog. 3) Sometimes you just have to use the original product as a shaker. The spray applicator isn’t the best to use for every situation, so your overall results will be best if you keep a shaker cap on hand so you have this option open.

I was shown the Toppiks hair fibers by a customer while I was having a haircut. She asked me if I wanted to have some on my hair and see if I liked it. Now, I do have to say, she was standing above me and using the shaker. So I order some, but thought this applicator would be more precise. Problem is, no instructions other than how to get the shaker lid off and the spray applicator on. I didn’t know anything about not tipping the bottle or how hard to press the top etc. Needless to say the first experience wasn’t positive.It came out in spots more than even spray or mist. So I was using way too much to try and get it to look even. When I was done, it was on my forehead and shoulders, and when I tried to rub it through my scalp it just made my fingernails brown. Tomorrow I am going to wash my hair and try again with a little more knowledge from other users experiences, and a lighter touch. Oh, by the way, I also had to wash my pillowcase! But I have to say on a positive note, it made my hair look twice as thick as it is, and really did help cover those white part lines.

If you are using toppik, I cannot imagine how you get by without this. It’s a must have. I have tried without it and no….this makes a huge difference. Takes a bit to get the hang of it. Some times you need to be closer other times further back, When I do the hairline, I do that before makeup because it will end up on my face as well, then I wipe off the excess that landed on my face and I’m set. Don’t use it daily, just for outings where I’ll take a lot of pics in bright sunlight, or out dancing where I know I’ll sweat and my thin hair will show my scalp more.

Made my 12.5g bottle last for almost a month where using the shake method was like a week and half. Granted, I was new at applying this stuff but simply shaking and hoping created clumps and tons of waste in and on the sink. This is simply point and shoot. Don’t hold too close though or you’ll get little spots of product that you’ll have to spread out.

If you read the reivews you would think this product stinks. Why? Because people say it gets clogged quickly and stops working. Some reviewers say that they have purchased like 5 of these applicators because they keep clogging.YES, this product does get clogged every so often, but all you have to do is put your mouth on the end of the applicator and suck and blow a few times (use your mouth to suck obviously…..not your lungs!) and voila it works perfectly again. Then rinse your mouth out with water and you are set.And by the way, unless you like the idea of inhaling hundreds of thousands of micro-particulates into your lungs, you might consider holding your breath while applying Toppik.

Before ordering this applicator, make sure you are ordering the correct size of the Toppik Hair Building fibers. I bought the .36 oz container and the applicator does not fit. The instructions say to screw off the shaker top from the container, however this cannot be done on this size; I even had my husband look at it to make sure I wasn’t missing something on the shaker top. The applicator does not indicate what size container it can be used on, so if anyone else can provide that information – it would be helpful. Now I have an applicator and cannot use it until I decide if I want to purchase larger size of the fibers.

This look like a good idea–easy way to apply the product and more control. It worked well for a week or two, then when I used it, I found that it was blowing the Toppik OFF my scalp. I looked inside and found that the Toppik particles were caked together so they would not spray. I stirred them up with the end of my comb and tried again. It worked for a few sprays but then stopped. I shook it and tried again. No luck. I think the humidity must have affected it but I don’t see how. I always keep the plastic tip cap on the nozzle. I won’t use it again.

I use this in my very thin hair part. The pump perfectly targets the area where hair fibers are needed, and only that area. Mine quit pumping one day. I simply rinsed it out with hot water, let it dry, and it continued to work great!

Using the maximizer helps to lightly spread the Toppik more evenly. This avoids clumping it on. Be sure to have the small, 10.3 gram size bottle on hand because that’s the only size the maximizer will fit. You can buy the large size and save money, by pouring the Toppik out of the large size, into the small one, by removing the top grate.

I have diffuse thinning, now to the point that my scalp shows, even on the sides of my head. I’ve had a container of Toppik for years but never got comfortable using it. It’s difficult to see where it’s going and how much is going on. I just got this applicator recently so I can’t speak to the issue of it getting clogged up over time. I’m thrilled with it though. I can put the nozzle almost against my scalp and get the product exactly where I want it in small controlled amounts. I still have a lot of hair compared to a bald scalp so when shaking the product from the container much of it would just sit on top of my hair and eventually get blown off. The nozzle allows me to get it on my scalp and not on top of my hair. I don’t have much of a problem in the vertex or back of the scalp, I suppose it may be more difficult to apply in these areas. For women with diffuse thinning over the crown and/or sides, it’s fantastic.

I guess I was an early-adoptor. Well, the infomercials are true. It works. I hate to be vain or even self-conscious – I’m not. But the truth is we live in a world where people think you are stupid and/or less attractive if you are fat or balding. This can’t do much for the former but effectively ‘cures’ the latter – no one can tell. All YOU have to do is match the color right. My bottle has also lasted for months now – it’s basically costing me pennies per use – can’t beat it – I know you might not believe it – but’s it’s true. Women should also check this out – especially middle age with those thin spots. Feels a little cheap the first few uses, but it is actually fiberous bands that practically match your hair and after a few times you don’t even think about it – just keep a mirror handy to put it on.

I was skeptical about buying this pricey plastic applicator after reading some reviews. I sprung for it, however, and now am a believer in this product. It carries the color right to where color coverage is needed. I can’t do without it now.

When I originally purchased the TOPPIK Hair Fibers product, I wasn’t too thrilled. However, after purchasing the applicator, this makes all the difference!

Personally, I found the applicator to be necessary with the toppik product. It took a couple days practice, but I found the applicator to work well. For me, holding the applicator six or 7 inches from the scalp was important because to close kind of blew the powder away from the scalp. Good lighting is a must. I think it is really more of a powder then hair like fibers but it does work-And for me much better with the applicator.

This is a must when applying fibers to ones hair. This item helps in distributing fibers evenly and mess free. A definite must.

Using the maximizer helps to lightly spread the Toppik more evenly. This avoids clumping it on. Be sure to have the small, 10.3 gram size bottle on hand because that’s the only size the maximizer will fit. You can buy the large size and save money, by pouring the Toppik out of the large size, into the small one, by removing the top grate.

With a little practice this does what it clams to do. I had purchased hair fibers from “Finely Hair” and it didn’t fit perfectly on their bottle but well enough that it did work. Yes I would recommend this prodcut.

Everyone who uses Toppik or is thinking about it must have this Maximizer. Not only does it apply an even and complete coverage, but it puts an end to the mess created by just shaking on the product, and makes the product go further because there is no waste spilling all over the counter by shaking it out of the container. 5 stars to whoever invented this item. I have used Toppik for years now and this made the product perfect…….Thank You!!!!!!

What a nifty little gadget! I’ve used and liked Toppik for several years, but since my thinning is on the front hairline, I would end up with Toppik all over my left hand (used to shield my face) and the sink. I didn’t even know that an applicator existed until recently, and for the inexpensive price, decided to give it a try. Love it!Now it’s simple to direct the Toppik to wherever I want it, and no excess anywhere. For Toppik users, I definitely recommend getting this product – you won’t be sorry!
