I’ll start with the excellent customer service part. After several months of use via the instructions, the cap stopped working. I emailed the company on their homepage under the tab “contact us”. This was on a Sunday afternoon and the company’s customer service is open only Monday-Friday. By 10:30am the next day (Monday) I had a phone call from “Greg” who gave me simple and complete instructions how to send back the product. He assured me that they would expedite the repair/replacement. Three days after I knew they had received the return (tracked it thru UPS), and again this was on a Sunday afternoon, I emailed them to ask about the status. I had a reply by noon the next day saying it was already shipped back to me and they included the tracking #. We received a brand new cap and battery pack along with a solid carrying case! (the case was not part of the original order:). Now for the second part of this review. My husband and myself have been using this laser cap since the middle of September 2019…I just wanted to be proactive and have stronger hair, my husband had quite a lot of thinning at the crown (balding). Seriously, after just a few weeks of use (say 3-4 wks), the new hair coming in was very noticeable at the crown and around the hairline for my husband. Today, it looks 80+ percent filled in and our hair stylist is all about recommending Regrow MD. And, to Regrow MD, since you obviously have a good product and may sell the company one day; hopefully, it won’t be to an entity that would diminish it…too many people need the benefit of usage!

I purchased in September and my hair is growing back already. I use it faithfully, I even travel with it so I don’t miss a treatment. I’m really excited about the progress. Overall excellent/comfortable but the beeps at ten and twenty minutes are not pleasant. The cap does slip if I move around, but that is likely because I have a narrow head. It works and the price, compared to others, is more fair.

I have been using the product for 18 months. Not sure of the results, but I was not expecting the battery to die on me. I am researching their website and they don’t have a battery replacement listed. Right now, the unit is constantly bleeping to let me know i need to charge it. But even charging over night does nothing for the battery. I have no intentions of buying another product just to get a new battery. So be aware you will be out of luck if you can’t get a battery.

Haven’t had it long enough to address whether or not it works for hair regrowth. Excellent value from a known brand. This differs from the latest HairMax cap in that the interior is rigid plastic with minimal flex. It does however have a rubbery silicone liner with holes for each laser. Contrary to claims from a youtube blogger, the semi-rigid liner has caused me no problems with comfort whatsoever…if I had to wear it all day, every day, maybe…but for just 30 minutes a few times a week, no problems. Sometimes I even forget I have it on. Additionally, the lasers in the cap cycle on and off. In the latest cap at HairMax I believe there Is an option for constant on which shortens the treatment time. I have read that with constant on the lasers heat up over time which in turn diminishes output during use. So…maybe cycling is better? Not sure if this is correct. Anyhow, even cycling on and off it’s still only 30 minutes. Only issue, I have a big head, and it is tight, tight, tight. Wish they made an extra large. For the majority with normal size heads, and even slightly large, I highly recommend for fit, quality and comfort.

I have the Male pattern balding lever 5 or 6.I started using the Regrow cap, prescription finasteride, HAIRFLUENCE – Hair Growth vitamin Formula, REGROWTH LABS M15 and REGROWTH LABS D5A (Topical Dusteride) after I had gone to hairclub for pricing on transplant, which ended up being over $15,000.00 and I had to fly to another city for procedure.I am shocked at how many hairs have sprung up out of my scalp over the last few months. They start where no or very fine clear hair is, then it gets longer and yellow, then it turns brown, as the hair follicle get healthier.I use the HairMax Regrow cap once a day for 30 minutes so far, with no side effects. Results are so promising, going to do 2 30 minute session each day, just like minoxidil therapy. Wash hair, do laser cap, then apply topical products + take one prescription hair loss medication and hair vitamin. That seems to be the winning combination for and other. I like that this helmet is helping my hair come it. Only 2 problems I have with it – first the baseball cap doesn’t really fit over the laser helmet so it does not match the photo showing that it will only look like you are wearing a baseball hat – I can’t wear mine at all it just falls off or looks a bit like a bubble on my head, so don’t buy it for that reason. Also, there is a high pitched tone when you first turn it on and every 10 min while wearing it. The tone needs to be a quarter as loud as it is, my dog runs out of the room and goes under my bed shaking when she hears this high pitched LOUD tone the helmet makes. The tone is unnecessary and can be alarming to animals. So I now leave the room every 10 min before the tone sounds – it’s a hassle but I’ve gotten use to it. My hair is coming back in, but it did take about 4 months to see a difference, so I am happy to say if you are buying the product and don’t own a dog and dont care about concealing it under a baseball hat that doesn’t really work as a concealer – this is the helmet for you! It works and I am please with my hair growth.

It’s much easier to use that laser combs and you can walk around with the battery in your pocket. I usually just sit and watch a 1/2 hr sitcom and let it run. I wish the sound wasn’t so loud when it beeps every ten minutes to give you a sense of how far you’ve left but you get used to the sound.

As a vain 75 year old, my hair is still the same colour but was definitely receding in places. However I have taken daily for 25+ years the worlds best vitamin supplements from the USA-my brother, 72, does not, and his hair shows why. Grey and very thin. I started the treatment 16 weeks ago, now 45 times, and certainly the hair in the baldish bits is regrowing. So yes, as it stands, would recommend.I do recall going to Belgravia Hair Clinic 30 years ago, and they tried to flog me their food standard vitamins, so dont fall into the trap of thinking any UK/ EU vitamin will help. But my USA ones + the Hairmax seem to make a big difference. So far, touch wood.

The picture is a bit deceptive. The unit is essentially a hard plastic helmet with a soft inner liner where the laser diodes are attached. It is fairly comfortable to wear. It does get noticeably warm when operating, but not uncomfortable. The baseball cap that goes over the assembly is a joke. It’s not purpose-designed and does not fit well. For the price of this item, they could have least designed a covering that fit and stayed attached. During operation, the battery pack will beep once every 10 minutes to let you know the status and will turn off after 30 minutes of operation.

I am using this for thinning hair… Hope to see favorable results… I have only had this for maybe 2 weeks. too early for any results.. The helmet has 272 lasers for $995 compared to 81 lasers with Capellas offer for $995. The helmet is one size fits all. Well, it is a small fitting helmet. I don`t think my head is huge … but it doesn’t fit very well.All of the laser lights work… Hopping for positive results.

I just wasn’t using it everyday for 30 minutes so I can’t comment on the results. Also cumbersome. You’re not just putting a baseball hat on. It’s a plastic molded piece. A bit too much

This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered from this company, both times didn’t work out. This time, the product seemed defective. I messaged their customer support, they replied from a no-reply email, instructing me to call them during their office hours. I’m in a different time zone and international calls are expensive, why not just sort it out over email? I’ll have to return this. Really wanted this to work out tho. Super bummed. 1 star feels harsh but I don’t know how to justify even 2.

I like had a good presentation even the cap I received it looks completely diferent at the one on the picture, I had a gray color one not black one. But the main goal on this is the growth, too early to said, but i will keep updating as this requires time to see results as any other treatment. Haven’t had it long enough to address whether or not it works for hair regrowth. Excellent value from a known brand. This differs from the latest HairMax cap in that the interior is rigid plastic with minimal flex. It does however have a rubbery silicone liner with holes for each laser. Contrary to claims from a youtube blogger, the semi-rigid liner has caused me no problems with comfort whatsoever…if I had to wear it all day, every day, maybe…but for just 30 minutes a few times a week, no problems. Sometimes I even forget I have it on. Additionally, the lasers in the cap cycle on and off. In the latest cap at HairMax I believe there Is an option for constant on which shortens the treatment time. I have read that with constant on the lasers heat up over time which in turn diminishes output during use. So…maybe cycling is better? Not sure if this is correct. Anyhow, even cycling on and off it’s still only 30 minutes. Only issue, I have a big head, and it is tight, tight, tight. Wish they made an extra large. For the majority with normal size heads, and even slightly large, I highly recommend for fit, quality and comfort.

I have been using the product for 18 months. Not sure of the results, but I was not expecting the battery to die on me. I am researching their website and they don’t have a battery replacement listed. Right now, the unit is constantly bleeping to let me know i need to charge it. But even charging over night does nothing for the battery. I have no intentions of buying another product just to get a new battery. So be aware you will be out of luck if you can’t get a battery.

I like that this helmet is helping my hair come it. Only 2 problems I have with it – first the baseball cap doesn’t really fit over the laser helmet so it does not match the photo showing that it will only look like you are wearing a baseball hat – I can’t wear mine at all it just falls off or looks a bit like a bubble on my head, so don’t buy it for that reason. Also, there is a high pitched tone when you first turn it on and every 10 min while wearing it. The tone needs to be a quarter as loud as it is, my dog runs out of the room and goes under my bed shaking when she hears this high pitched LOUD tone the helmet makes. The tone is unnecessary and can be alarming to animals. So I now leave the room every 10 min before the tone sounds – it’s a hassle but I’ve gotten use to it. My hair is coming back in, but it did take about 4 months to see a difference, so I am happy to say if you are buying the product and don’t own a dog and dont care about concealing it under a baseball hat that doesn’t really work as a concealer – this is the helmet for you! It works and I am please with my hair growth.

The picture is a bit deceptive. The unit is essentially a hard plastic helmet with a soft inner liner where the laser diodes are attached. It is fairly comfortable to wear. It does get noticeably warm when operating, but not uncomfortable. The baseball cap that goes over the assembly is a joke. It’s not purpose-designed and does not fit well. For the price of this item, they could have least designed a covering that fit and stayed attached. During operation, the battery pack will beep once every 10 minutes to let you know the status and will turn off after 30 minutes of operation.

I’ll start with the excellent customer service part. After several months of use via the instructions, the cap stopped working. I emailed the company on their homepage under the tab “contact us”. This was on a Sunday afternoon and the company’s customer service is open only Monday-Friday. By 10:30am the next day (Monday) I had a phone call from “Greg” who gave me simple and complete instructions how to send back the product. He assured me that they would expedite the repair/replacement. Three days after I knew they had received the return (tracked it thru UPS), and again this was on a Sunday afternoon, I emailed them to ask about the status. I had a reply by noon the next day saying it was already shipped back to me and they included the tracking #. We received a brand new cap and battery pack along with a solid carrying case! (the case was not part of the original order:). Now for the second part of this review. My husband and myself have been using this laser cap since the middle of September 2019…I just wanted to be proactive and have stronger hair, my husband had quite a lot of thinning at the crown (balding). Seriously, after just a few weeks of use (say 3-4 wks), the new hair coming in was very noticeable at the crown and around the hairline for my husband. Today, it looks 80+ percent filled in and our hair stylist is all about recommending Regrow MD. And, to Regrow MD, since you obviously have a good product and may sell the company one day; hopefully, it won’t be to an entity that would diminish it…too many people need the benefit of usage!

I have CCCA, Central Centrifugal Cicatricial Alopecia. While I gave this product a fair try, I noticed NO significant change, hair density improvement or growth. I’m sure this product works well for those with androgenic alopecia and a few other types, just not CCCA. I used it according to the directions 3x per week at 30 minutes each. I shaved my head to give it a fresh start. As my hair grew out, it was still the same thin areas as before if not more.Next, the battery pack started not holding a charge after about 3 ½ – months into its use, making it stop working before the allotted cap usage time was up. Also, there was this strange buzzing intermittent sound as the device became faulty. I’m sure this is not common and they have many happy customers. I hope this works for you. I wish it had worked for me. Great device and great price!

I decided to buy this product because I was happy with the results I saw from my current Capillus 82. My bosley’s cusultant suggested to get one with atleast 145 diodes for optimum results. I did a lot of research to find one that is best quality for under $1000. Capillus caps with that many diodes are over $1500 even at costco.Comparing the build quality of this one to my current capillus, I liked that capillus did have a little bit of flexibility in the leds while regrowmd is a sturdy bowl with no flexibility. Also RegrowMD did not have a sensor with leds like capillus, so make sure you put the hat on the head before you press power. Otherwise the leds turn on and they are blinding strong. RegrowMD’s batterypack is bigger which i would think will last longer than capillus. Also another minor design flaw that hopefully they can fix is the wire that comes behind the hat sticks out a little toom much where you cant rest your head against the back board while wearing it.But overall for the price point, I think this product is definately better than any others out there. Specially coming from the makers of Hairmax (pioneers of lazer hair growth therapy) this is probably the best hair growth device available for under $1000.Also this product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review. But that in no way made me lean one way or the other.I have used this hat for 3 times only so far, but looking forward to post an update in 3 months on how it works.

I purchased in September and my hair is growing back already. I use it faithfully, I even travel with it so I don’t miss a treatment. I’m really excited about the progress. I was very skeptical at first but I was so devastated at the lost of my hair I decided to try it and so glad I did. I was planning a hair transplant for 10,000 dollar. Hopefully my hair will grow in adequately and I will not need a transplant. Hope this helps someone.

They start where no or very fine clear hair is, then it gets longer and yellow, then it turns brown, as the hair follicle get healthier.I use the HairMax Regrow cap once a day for 30 minutes so far, with no side effects. Results are so promising, going to do 2 30 minute session each day, just like minoxidil therapy. Wash hair, do laser cap, then apply topical products + take one prescription hair loss medication and hair vitamin. That seems to be the winning combination for and other. It’s much easier to use that laser combs and you can walk around with the battery in your pocket. I usually just sit and watch a 1/2 hr sitcom and let it run. I wish the sound wasn’t so loud when it beeps every ten minutes to give you a sense of how far you’ve left but you get used to the sound.

I started with the (Hairmax) comb when it first came out but wanted to get a full head laser cap. I reviewed all the laser caps and looked at the ratings this is the best. The design openings give a direct flow to the hair, I’ve been using three times a week for the past six weeks and my hair fills a little thicker all ready.

Too early to tell if it regrows hair. Build quality seems moderate for the expense through i don’t really know how it compares to other hats like this. All the lasers work and the battery holds a charge well. The little holster to hold the battery works nice. The soft hat was hard to fit over the rigid frame which has no flex so it is more like a hardhat fit with silicone support cushion. It fits a smallish head but barely stays put. You can walk around if you keep your head form making any quick movements. That is nice to not be stuck in place until treatment is complete. Haave to wait and see if it is effective.

This product is very ROUND and it is NOT flexible. As such, a sizable gap is on both sides of the head; so I don’t know if I am receiving “adequate treatment” on the sides of my head. Therefore, I shift the cap to the left, center and right of my head every 10 minutes during each 30 minute treatment. Also, the cap generates a lot of heat, I begin to perspire before the treatment ends. It is heavy and bulky; the baseball cap cannot fit over the the entire unit. it is not a good fit (and I have a large head). I’ve had it less than a mouth so It is too soon to comment on it’ effectiveness.

I just wasn’t using it everyday for 30 minutes so I can’t comment on the results. Also cumbersome. You’re not just putting a baseball hat on. It’s a plastic molded piece. A bit too much

I am researching their website and they don’t have a battery replacement listed. Right now, the unit is constantly bleeping to let me know i need to charge it. But even charging over night does nothing for the battery. I have no intentions of buying another product just to get a new battery. So be aware you will be out of luck if you can’t get a battery.

I am using this for thinning hair… Hope to see favorable results… I have only had this for maybe 2 weeks. too early for any results.. The helmet has 272 lasers for $995 compared to 81 lasers with Capellas offer for $995. The helmet is one size fits all. Well, it is a small fitting helmet. I don`t think my head is huge … but it doesn’t fit very well.All of the laser lights work… Hopping for positive results.

I gave this more than 6 months and not only did I loose more hair and not regrow any, it actually made a bald spot on the front corner of my head that was never a problem area. I will try to sell it used now as the return window is gone. wish I never tried this product – Update: returned the unit less a $165 restocking fee. I went to a hair restoration doctor after this and he was able to resolve my hair loss issue, which was not caused by this product as I had thought, but by very high stress. They had a similar device at the doctors office for sale, so these probably do work. so I changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars. going to the hair restoration doctor was a really good decision for me.

I like had a good presentation even the cap I received it looks completely diferent at the one on the picture, I had a gray color one not black one. But the main goal on this is the growth, too early to said, but i will keep updating as this requires time to see results as any other treatment. Also confused as I had HM 272 for higher price and this looks cheaper with the same 272 lasers. At this time I like the product

Haven’t had it long enough to address whether or not it works for hair regrowth. Excellent value from a known brand. This differs from the latest HairMax cap in that the interior is rigid plastic with minimal flex. It does however have a rubbery silicone liner with holes for each laser. Contrary to claims from a youtube blogger, the semi-rigid liner has caused me no problems with comfort whatsoever…if I had to wear it all day, every day, maybe…but for just 30 minutes a few times a week, no problems. Sometimes I even forget I have it on. Additionally, the lasers in the cap cycle on and off. In the latest cap at HairMax I believe there Is an option for constant on which shortens the treatment time. I have read that with constant on the lasers heat up over time which in turn diminishes output during use. So…maybe cycling is better? Not sure if this is correct. Anyhow, even cycling on and off it’s still only 30 minutes. Only issue, I have a big head, and it is tight, tight, tight. Wish they made an extra large. For the majority with normal size heads, and even slightly large, I highly recommend for fit, quality and comfort.

I’m a black 61 year old female and was very skeptical about this purchase. First the cap is misleading and it does not fit on the laser cap. But I didn’t care I use it before bed. I purchased in September and my hair is growing back already. I use it faithfully, I even travel with it so I don’t miss a treatment. I’m really excited about the progress. I was very skeptical at first but I was so devastated at the lost of my hair I decided to try it and so glad I did. I was planning a hair transplant for 10,000 dollar. Hopefully my hair will grow in adequately and I will not need a transplant. Hope this helps someone.

I have been using this as direct for just about 6 months. I haven’t seen an Progress yet, but the unit has started to act up. Doesn’t want to stay on regardless of battery having a charge and USB connection gets hot.Update: customer service was helpful. I sent back my device and a few days later I had a new device back. (Still can’t say if my hair is improving, but at least customer service made it right-painlessly.

I’ll start with the excellent customer service part. After several months of use via the instructions, the cap stopped working. I emailed the company on their homepage under the tab “contact us”. This was on a Sunday afternoon and the company’s customer service is open only Monday-Friday. By 10:30am the next day (Monday) I had a phone call from “Greg” who gave me simple and complete instructions how to send back the product. He assured me that they would expedite the repair/replacement. Three days after I knew they had received the return (tracked it thru UPS), and again this was on a Sunday afternoon, I emailed them to ask about the status. I had a reply by noon the next day saying it was already shipped back to me and they included the tracking #. We received a brand new cap and battery pack along with a solid carrying case! (the case was not part of the original order:). Now for the second part of this review. My husband and myself have been using this laser cap since the middle of September 2019…I just wanted to be proactive and have stronger hair, my husband had quite a lot of thinning at the crown (balding). Seriously, after just a few weeks of use (say 3-4 wks), the new hair coming in was very noticeable at the crown and around the hairline for my husband. Today, it looks 80+ percent filled in and our hair stylist is all about recommending Regrow MD. And, to Regrow MD, since you obviously have a good product and may sell the company one day; hopefully, it won’t be to an entity that would diminish it…too many people need the benefit of usage!

I like that this helmet is helping my hair come it. Also, there is a high pitched tone when you first turn it on and every 10 min while wearing it. The tone needs to be a quarter as loud as it is, my dog runs out of the room and goes under my bed shaking when she hears this high pitched LOUD tone the helmet makes. The tone is unnecessary and can be alarming to animals. So I now leave the room every 10 min before the tone sounds – it’s a hassle but I’ve gotten use to it. My hair is coming back in, but it did take about 4 months to see a difference, so I am happy to say if you are buying the product and don’t own a dog and dont care about concealing it under a baseball hat that doesn’t really work as a concealer – this is the helmet for you! It works and I am please with my hair growth.

It’s much easier to use that laser combs and you can walk around with the battery in your pocket. I usually just sit and watch a 1/2 hr sitcom and let it run. I wish the sound wasn’t so loud when it beeps every ten minutes to give you a sense of how far you’ve left but you get used to the sound.
